While the Maki rolls aren't quite as good as the Maplewood location, nor is their donburi, this is still an incredible sushi option that I would recommend to anyone. The initial all-you-can-eat price may be hard to swallow, but come here with space in your stomach, and you'll leave with no regrets. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the waitress assigned to my table was lacking in basic courtesy and attentiveness. Throughout the evening, I struggled to get her attention even for the simplest requests. It was frustrating to feel ignored while dining, especially considering the restaurant was quite empty during that time. To make matters worse, when it came time to settle the bill, the waiter hovered over our table, pressuring me to sign the receipt quickly while we were still finishing our dessert. After noticing that I hadn’t left an additional tip due to the terrible service and attitude, she used it as an excuse to threaten us with a ban from the restaurant. She even unleashed a string of insults directed at both me and my dining companion, accusing us of overindulging at the all-you-can-eat restaurant—an accusation that was both outrageous and unacceptable. Fuming from this unprofessional conduct, I sought out the manager to address the situation. However, despite expressing my concerns, he failed to take any meaningful action to resolve the issue. His insincere apology did nothing to alleviate my frustration, and it was evident that he either lacked the authority or the willingness to address customer complaints effectively. As if things couldn’t get any worse, I observed the inappropriate waitress openly mocking our encounter with another staff member. This display of unprofessionalism and disrespect towards customers was disheartening and totally unbecoming of what should be a reputable establishment. It’s truly disappointing to see such an excellent culinary experience marred by the disgraceful behavior of the staff. While I cannot deny the quality of the food, the subpar service I encountered at Tokyo Sushi has left a lasting negative impression of the restaurant. I sincerely hope management takes urgent steps to address these issues and improves their hiring and training practices. Until there are significant improvements in service and staff professionalism, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this restaurant to others looking for a pleasant dining experience.

This is my 6-year-old's favorite restaurant. I've tried other all-you-can-eat sushi places, such as Kyoto Sushi, but Tokyo Sushi is by far the best. The service here is fantastic too. I'm fortunate that it's close to home. I highly recommend it!

In Minnesota, sushi tends to be judged differently due to our geographical location. Tokyo Sushi offered pretty good sushi at reasonable prices. I didn't opt for the all-you-can-eat option, but the dishes I tried were tasty, and the service was satisfactory.
