Super!! Very friendly and helpful staff. They were packed and in a matter of minutes they prepared a table for 7 without any problem and without having a reservation! We were exploring Saint Paul and ameaross this restaurant> they were friendly and welcomed us along with our 2 dogs. The meal of Dorade and vegetables was delicious, well presented and good value. The desert was also very good and homemade, washed down with a exellent local rose. We highly reommend trying this restaurant.

We were camping at the wonderful Camping de l'Agly site, run by Jean Luc and his lovely wife. But we needed our daily fix of good coffee in relaxed, yet efficient and beautiful surroundings. We found exactly that at Le Ptit Chapitre and we went there each day before and after our long cycle rides up and down fortressed hills in this breath taking landscape, renowned for its Cathar history. They don't do there own Viennoiserie but they are fine with you buying from the excellent boulangerie down the street to eat at Le Ptit Chapitre there IS a little chapel to visit in St Paul de Fenouillet. We came to adore our café/restaurant host owner. On our last night, we ate dinner there and the food was delicious. We also spotted a family of owls who had taken up residence on surrounding balconies and in trees along with bats. The owner explained that he had found one of the baby owls in the street the previous day and had placed it in the tree and now the rest of the family had joined it. Such a charming place, Highly recommend.
