Neptune Grill - SAINT PETERSBURG

Neptune's is our favorite spot for a weeknight dinner or a weekend lunch. The menu has something for everyone and is consistently good each time we visit. Our go-to dishes include the hummus, a large Greek salad paired with either potato salad or horiatiki salad to share, as well as the spanakopita starter or platter. We also love the burgers, wings, gyros, and pastichio. They have a nice selection of cold beers, seltzers, and delicious Bloody Marys! This family-run restaurant boasts a fantastic staff, and I have to mention that Whitney is the most entertaining bartender on weekends! Chris frequently serves us on the patio; he is always attentive and does an excellent job, even during the busiest days. We enjoy the lively atmosphere, the live music, and we love running into familiar faces.

It was the oven issue with a so so server. I'll be back. I like the patio atmosphere.

We stopped in for an appetizer after a day at the beach and had the calamari and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Both were excellent—the calamari was crispy and tender, while the mushrooms were generously filled with crab meat. The service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant is right by the water, offering a beautiful view. Overall, we enjoyed the food, found the prices reasonable, and appreciated the great location.

Delicious food and welcoming staff. I really enjoyed the flaming cheese appetizer. Plus, the outdoor area is dog-friendly!

Based on this visit I cant recommend. I ordered oysters as a appetizer and they came at the same time as my entree. The oysters or the sauce had a spoiled sour taste. The lamb chops should have been called lamb chunks. I ordered the medium and they were WELL DONE. They were way over charred and minus any type of salt, pepper or seasoning. The service was slow. They only had 1 server working the entire dining room. We never got hot sauce, lemons or napkins that were requested. We had six people in our party. Waters, tea and soft drinks were never refilled. Interior was nicely decorated and it is centrally located in front of parking. Decor was cute. No I will not return or ever recommend.
