There is only one day menu, a salad, a fish and a meat dish and that's about all. Food is edible, but not delicious. Despite the fantastic attitude, efforts and efficiency of the staff, we were rather disappointed. This really is a missed opportunity ...
The Brasserie Le Club House lies on the oldest golf course of France and used to be a Norwegian Pavilion at the Exhibition of 1900. It's exploited by the Najeti Golf Hotel in Valescure part of Saint Raphael). You can reach the Club House whether through the bar of the Najeti Hotel or directly. It’s exactly what you expect from a Golf Clubhouse. You can sit inside a kind of log cabin atmosphere) or outside, where you can choose to sit on the veranda or the open air terrace only for drinks). We had lunch twice: one time inside and one time outside on the terrace: since finally the sun was shining and the veranda was in the shadow the waiter let us have our lunch on the terrace. The view from the veranda and terrace is very nice; seeing golfers putting on a small course opposite of you, or coming and going to the golf course. Both lunches were good, especially the Club sandwiches. Service was average as long you didn’t have to deal with a trainee, who still had to learn a lot, but didn’t seem to be getting any coaching we had experienced already in at the breakfast room). The menu is limited, but every day there are special dishes, shown on a black board. Usually the restaurant is only open from 12.00 till 4.00, but when we were there it was opened in the evening. Probably because low season) the other restaurant of the Najeti les pins parasols) was used as breakfast room. I don’t know if the menu of Les Pins Parasols was served at the Club House
We had lunch a couple of times in the brasserie and found it really average. The setting is fine on the terrace and service is a bit slow but the waitress was really nice and smiling.
In February lunch on the terrace in the warm winter sunshine. Short menu and two plats du jour (daily dishes) changing each day and at 15 euros, very good value for the Cote d 'Azur. Well prepared classical brasserie style dishes with a provencale touch. Fast and efficient service. Very popular with locals 'in-the-know '. A well kept secret.
Very good evening at two, a dynamic team will welcome you. Forgetting the old comments judge the most recent!
