We just wanted a little lunch and had found the Place Favier by taking a way down from the main road of St Remy de Provence near the de Sade Hotel. No sadness here, although the owner Marion was thrilled, happy and generous, to serve us one of their specialties for 16 euros and some local wines through the glass. The plate we ordered was a Plat de Fromages et de Fruits and included 4 different cheeses, 3 separate tapnades, figs, watermelons, rockmelons and grapes, as well as a small green salad and a supply of French breads. Much for 3 people alone 2. The size was incredibly generous and Marion was a fascinating lady who had traveled with her parents around France after having her father from Armenia a pastry (here the name of her company) still ca. 5 km outside St Remy. She treats every customer needs personally and told us that she had made the tapenade personal and that the dish contained fruit from her own garden. She was particularly charming and friendly.
We went with our family for a wine and small snacks. Super nice to sit, with a large square in front of you, with a lot to see, good food and wine!
Nice looking cafe but way too expensive. Staff pretty unfriendly...and they even have a board up saying smile ...they should probably start from there...
Great place for a glass or two wine and some local tasty delicacies. Really friendly owner who works really hard to make sure you are attended to most professionally.
