Weber’s Growler Factory

A treat for us here on SSI. As craft beer lovers, who just moved to the area, we appreciate having a tap house to try new regional beers. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of the products.

Not only do they have over 40 craft beers on tap~ they have craft root beer!!! Yippee for me!!! I frequent breweries because my other half loves craft beer, but it's always rare for me to drink anything other than water- one of my favorites is when a place has craft root beer! And they had soft pretzels too!!! Another favorite of mine. It was on and off raining, so we sat indoors, but they do have seating outside. Inside the tables are assorted and I choose to sit at the checkers barrel table- to play checkers with the man. I lost, but that's ok. This place not only has tons of beer, but they have cigars, an assortment of pint glasses for breweries across the country, flasks, bottled beer and more! John enjoyed a flight with a couple new beers and a couple beers he loves. He also grabbed a couple pint glasses for the collection at home ; I could see stopping back in next time we are in St Simons.

Drinks were great, SO MANY CHOICES! The seating space was a little small but it didn't affect the atmosphere at all. They also have two cute little dogs that help with the service!

I do. It drink beer, so reading that you go WHY???? The Rootbeer, oh my goodness, such magnificent rootbeer. The bartender was so nice, absolutely felt safe. As a female out on my own at night he even made sure I made it to my car as it was late. It was a wonderful find, had great conversation with all the customers there. Everyone was friendly and me being from out of town it felt comfortable.

Enjoyed a quick stop at this neat beer spot! Lots of craft beers on tap. Would recommend for sure
