L'alpee - Saint-Sixt

An old kafe refurbished and transformed to bakery and coffee place , working from very early in the morning until night. Very polite people , tasty and fresh snacks and coffee. The right place at the ideal location.

This is a small, friendly bar-restaurant-cafe by the roundabout at the centre of the small town of Saint-Jean de Sixt. That's between the ski resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. Two of us visited on a weekday. Local people were eating there but seats were available and the service was attentive. We both had vegetarian meals, one adapted from the regular menu. The portions were more than we could finish, despite a morning's skiing and a train journey ahead.

From our first visit, we fell under the charm of the castle of Saint-Sixt. It was obvious: our marriage will be here! The frame is just amazing, the beautiful barn, the beautiful gardens! Our guests have been as much as we are. We couldn't have dreamed of a better place for our day. We stayed at the castle and the rooms are top too. Stéphane and Marylou were great, available and adorable. A huge MERCI to you two.

As Wedding Planner, I always have a crazy pleasure coming back to Saint Sixt. This place is very warm and versatile! Stephane Marylou is very careful with all their married and service providers! If you hesitate, I recommend Saint Sixt for your event!
