Feedback gevenFrom the Col de la Croix de Fer towards St Sorlin d'Arves, the road goes to the right over this Auberge. We went for lunch in Arves it was totally dead!! We returned to L'Auberge des Torins and although we were too late for lunch, we were offered excellent steaks and trims and a carafe local red wine! We ate outside it was warm and admire the view! A place to eat! The staff was very helpful and enjoyed the banter!
On a cold rainy day when I took my way through the Alps, I stopped there for lunch with a colleague. Was really quiet, just another customer. Hostess/Server was really nice (owner? food was good (the tartiflette was). Asked for Dessert recommendations and we were both satisfied. Can not be considered as 5* gastronomic restaurant, but the price was more than reasonable, serving generous, food was great and local. Hard to ask more. Valuable 4 out of 5.
We were here with 9 people. Had a large table and enough space for the meat boilers and the clochette (a large cow bell were you can roast your meat on, very cool and tasty). The clochette was processed with duck, beef, veal and pig. We had a fun night and a good dinner!
