La Tarte Tropezienne - Sainte-Maxime

Went there 6:30 when they opened and bought a loaf pain au levain . It was amazing. I couldn 't stop eating and all of a sudden the loaf was gone. Thanks!

Superb selection of bread and cakes to tempt the passers by! Its namesake tarte tropezienne is a heady concoction of sponge and cream...no calories! Lovely bread of various varieties , quiches, sandwiches etc....hard to beat for quality and price....and the position in town!

Even if you don't try your first Tarte Tropizenne here you must try one! This shop is always busy and for good reason their Tartes are simply the best. With either raspberry or strawberry these big cream buns are exquisite. Treat yourself!

I stopped by as I was advised by a friend that they make great local dessert pastry named by Brigitte Bardot herself. La tarte Tropezienne is basically brioche filled with creme and available also with different fruits accompanying the creme. They come in different sizes and taste really nice! Indulge yourself.

I went there very early in the morning and took a wide selection of pastries for breakfast. Very nice and convenient. Enjoy!!
