We had a very nice lunch. Cosy bar at the beach. Sardines and a good wine. The staff very helpful. The man of parking very friendly
As far as I am concerned, this is the most elegant place on the Plage la Nartelle.Professional but somewhat cold welcome by the hostess (owner?). Spacy beach area with good quality sunbeds and sofaes.Even late in September the resto was crowded for lunch - 2 seatings, and we picked the last one (14.30). No more left of the recommended fish dish (St Pierre) we wanted, so we went for a 'Back of cod with champagne sauce' and a 'Marinated tuna' variant - both served with a pumpkin puree (I think..) and garlic-baked potatos. Delicious - the sauces were just fantastic! The dessert, 'cafe gourmand', was impeccable. The waiters were busy and uninterested. To summarize: Elegant beach resto and excellent food for a beach-restoSpacy and clean beach area. Service 'comme ci comme ca' (but charming parking service!).Not cheap though - 170 € for 2 sunbeds, 2 aperitifs, 2 main courses, cheapest bottle of rosé and 2 cafe gourmands.
Twice before have I given you my opinion about La Voile. And once again l feel the urge to share my latest experience with you. Bernard and his lovely wife have done some upgrading to the place but still managed to maintain the good, old cosyness and style and are now better prepared to serve their clients wonderful meals no matter the weather. In addition to the quite unique mast and sails " protecting" their guests from the hot summer sun and to a degree from winds, a sliding roof is now in place, making the restaurant fit for any weather conditions. The same familiar face of the " gentilles organizateurs" bears a strong proof of La Voile being a nice place to work, and the crew never fails to make you feel welcome and they will take good care of you. And so do the cooks!! We chose Avocado and Shrimp tartar for entre. Delectable, succulent and wonderful fresh with a bottle of good rose'. Our main course was Filet de Beuf, medium rare with those small, tasty potatoes and what l claim is the best peppersauce in Provence. Impeccable with red Minuty. For dessert : Tiramisu. Light and fresh. We will be back next week for sure!!!Tore Y Samuelsen
Spent a lovely day at La Voile. Very expensive but worth the treat. Hired sunbeds all day and had lunch here. The care taken by staff upon entry was excellent from the sunbeds to the restaurant. The food was lovely despite being on the expensive side but the setting was beautiful, so it was worth it. Would definitely return.
