Rocco Rico - Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer

The fish cookery in Rocco Rico is wonderful: simply prepared and SO full of flavour! We went there two evenings in a row and ate from the formula menu; great flavours and excellent value for money. The artisinal ice cream is exquisite too! One of us was pescatarian and I need to eat gluten-free, and in both cases we were well served.

So I thought, hey this is smack in the middle of town, so it might be a tourist trap But how wrong I was Aside from the pretty good food, the service was excellent as well. We had the paella and the grilled seafood Special thanks to our server Jimmy, who was attentive and friendly : He spoke English and French, which was a plus Definitely coming back whenever I'm in the area

We have feasted with a pot in the fire of the sea, fresh, generous products! Very good reception, I warmly recommend.

Exceptional! Don't trust his deceitful face in the glacier-style setting and go with his eyes closed! Warm welcome, all homemade, generous plates, high quality regional products (fresh fresh fish of the day and meat of Camargue) and pieces of choice. We'll be back, that's a certainty!
