We therefore left and found a lovely restaurant called Casaserra where we found the waiter to be very pleasant and was able to offer us an english menu too.
We had dinner at Pucela. We were there for over two hours and no other table was occupied, there were no other dinners. Food was erratic. From a fish soup, that was tasteless and watery, to decent prawns tempura to two excellent dishes baby lamb cutlets lamb “codillo”. Deserts unremarkable. The service one fine the waiter was helpfull when choosing local wines.
I'm glad we couldn't find parking in the city. We stumbled upon pucela on a busy Sunday lunch time. The restaurant was packed and we waited. Boy was it worth the wait. Excellent food, excellent staff, separate English menus, great ambience. Our lunch lasted forever. Highly recommended if ever in these parts.
Supreme quality and phenomenal service, highly advisable.
Its great gastronomic tradition with which the family has us
