Knotty Shop - Salcha

One of the best gift shops in all of Alaska. Lots of variety in the kind of stuff that they have in there. It's a tourist trap in a good sense.

When we lived in North Pole we would take our granddaughters to look for gifts. We bought Christmas and birthday gifts for family and friends. Prices are from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars based on the crafter. If you drive out to North Pole then drive on out to this shop if you like hand crafted gifts.

There is a very good variety of items here. We have limited time otherwise I might be able to stay here for a good 30min here. I got ulu knife, some key chains and ornaments for souvenirs. Very pretty decor inside as well as great picture spot in front of the shop. I highly recommend any visitors to stop here for some gifts.

Very neat gift shop to go to. Incredible selection of things you can't live without, and not to mention, some killer ice cream. Definitely worth a stop when you are in the area

We always take visiting friends and family to the Knotty Shop. It has great ice cream and a ton of souvenirs, and the animal display is impress. Worth the trip out there from Fairbanks.
