Bentley's Grill - Salem

Wonderful atmosphere: dim lighting, soothing music, and stunning architecture. My husband enjoyed the duck while I opted for the free-range pressed chicken, and both dishes were delicious. The portions were quite generous. We also loved the mozzarella flatbread and the sparkling strawberry lemonade. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning for future date nights.

This restaurant offers a lively atmosphere with a touch of elegance, although it tends to be on the pricier side. The prices might be justifiable if the portion sizes were more filling. The service was excellent, and the food was indeed tasty. I just wish they were a little more considerate of customers' wallets. It's definitely a great spot for a date night every now and then! The ambiance was fantastic, and the service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Our server had a wonderful personality and was very attentive. However, I was disappointed with the food in relation to its price. The mushroom appetizer was outstanding, but the vegetable medley was basic, and the mashed potatoes were overly thick and served lukewarm. The pork was significantly overcooked, practically shaking the plate when I cut it, and the salmon was slightly overdone as well. On the bright side, there was a fun selection of wines, and the flourless chocolate cake paired beautifully with the ports. Overall, I would rate the food at three stars, but the people and the wine definitely deserve five.

It was my wife and I 18th anniversary and I took her to Bentley's. It was a wonderful experience and our server Meg was awesome thank you for the wonderful night.

I recently had lunch at Bentley's for the first time. The service and ambiance were great, and the food was fresh, well-prepared and attractive. As a long-time vegan, however, I would have been happier to see more vegan options (including ample protein) on the menu. It was also too pricey for me to eat there very often.
