Dough Hook Bake Shop - Salem

We've been here twice now, and I'm nothing but impressed. The donuts are huge, but they also have a fantastic flavor to their dough. Even though their toppings are incredibly flavorful, they don't rely on just the toppings to give flavor. We also triedtheir vanilla bean cruffin today, and it was so flaky and perfectly moist in the middle. They're definitely pricier than yourgeneric donuts but well worth it!

This place gets a 10/10 from me!!! Obviously I couldn't wait to get into these before I took a photo... these donuts are huge! And so so delicious. And take my word for it: try the passion fruit and poppy seed. It's life changing. I'm almost mad at howdelicious it is because I swear I could eat a dozen of just these. The donuts are all fluffy and just sweet enough without beingover sweet. Wasn't a huge fan of the chocolate ganache but that's because it's more of a dark chocolate so if that's your thingI think you'll like it. Very quick service as well. I also love the variety available because they're different from the regulardonut shop offerings. I'll definitely be back! Flavor bursts in every bite! Wow.. not sugar laden with the same flavors you buy at the wholesale donut making supplier. Real Marionberry with lemon drizzle, draped on a large freshly homemade ring of yeast raised bread. Yum! Yum! And it's only thebeginning of our new adventure together

The donuts are HUGE, and they taste amazing, but the best thing is their Cruffin. We bought a Vanilla Bean Cruffin, and the pastry was moist, flakey, and melt in your mouth good, and what makes it better is that they filled it to the brim with vanillabean custard.

I feel bamboozled. I got an oreo cheesecake donut excited for that cheesecake taste but it did not taste like cheesecake whatsoever. It tasted like a good ol regular oreo donut could have saved a couple bucks going to Day Night Donuts.
