Muchacho Alegre - Salem

The food is fresh and the staff is wonderful. This is our favorite spot for Mexican cuisine.

My daughter and I had a quick lunch here.The employees were very welcoming and prompt with service and food!Food was delicious.I will be going back next time I'm in Salem!

Unfortunately, my husband and I were disappointed with our meal. Each of us received only a small portion of about 10 French fries, and the burritos were rather dry. The menu promised they would be smothered in cheese sauce, but there was hardly any to be found. Overall, it wasn't the dining experience we had hoped for.

The Mexican food here is delicious and full of flavor, with a large menu that caters to even the pickiest eaters in your group. I went last weekend for a birthday party and had such a great time that I had to return again this weekend!

My daughter, 3 grandchildren and I arrived at 3:15 on a Saturday afternoon. There were 4 booths and a small group seated down the middle as you walked in. We waited about 3-5 minutes to be seated. Once seated we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for our water to come take our drink request. We waited about 10-15 minutes to get our drinks and the young man only brought us my daughters and mine, and to add it was not the drink my daughter ordered. We waited another 10 minutes before he brought the kids drinks. We waited about 45 minutes before our food was received and it wasn't what was ordered and the food was cold. When we told the young waiter he just rolled his eyes and did nothing to fix the issue. I will never eat or recommend them at all! Absolutely the worst service!
