Each of us was really pleased with our meals and sides. As for the prices, they were average for amusement park fare; however, the iced tea was on the pricier side since it was Tazo brewed. There’s also an additional charge of $1.79 to swap fries (sweet potato or waffle) for chips, which isn't unreasonable compared to other places. Overall, if I find myself at Canobie Lake again, I would definitely choose to dine at the Sons of Liberty Tavern.
I wish I could give this place zero stars. We waited in line to eat here for over half an hour, and my 3-year-old was absolutely starving. While my husband stayed in line, I tried to find a table in this busy restaurant. We found one open table, only to be told that children weren't allowed there, even though there were no signs indicating this and no clear reason provided. I could understand if it was a bar or something similar, but it was just a dining area! This is pretty disappointing for a family amusement park. When my husband finally joined us, he said we were leaving. Apparently, they were only serving chicken nuggets that week—again, no signage to inform us. Now we have to stand in another line somewhere else, all while managing a hungry child. This experience wasted our time and left us with a bad impression. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this restaurant!
If waiting for one person to take orders and prepare all the drinks isn't annoying enough, the lengthy wait for food will really test your patience! The food was decent, but the process of getting it was quite a hassle.
Just left there absolutly horrible service food took over 39 mins for chicken fingers when finalt came 45 mins later asked for a refund or talk to manager hes no sorry mam but would u like a soda. Not to mention we tried to cancel are order and get a refund but was refused. I didnt drive 2 hours to spend an hour for chicken fingers. Not to metion my mom touched the wrong chicken fingers with her hands and they still served them. All i can say i WOW
Over 45 minute wait on a weekday for quick service food. The workers could care less about their job. I watched the person taking orders actually say Sorry, it 's going to be a minute... because he wanted to fill up a glass of soda for himself and take his time drinking it. The whole experience was bizarre. I won 't be back to Canobie Lake Park again. Ever.
