Cafe des Vignes - Salernes

Steffen has created a great restaurant with excellent authentic French food. We had lamb shank, tuna salad and Cannelloni, generous portions to an affordable price!

Party of six on biking tour had a most taste-able lunch. Had a mix of Spareribs ,Fresh Tuna salad etc and all meals were rich and excellent. Quickly and tasty served in a nice personal manner by Mr Stephan and his crew.

This café resto owned by Norwegians, is a must in Provence. Friendly reception, always received with a smile, good food and good selection of drinks for all gourmets . If sitting outside, at center of Salernes, having maybe only a drink, or picking your selection for a meal from their menu is what you a longing for then it´s a must.

Ate here yesterday. Food was quite simple but well made. Had a chèvre Chaud salad and tuna nicoise with fresh tuna steak (nice to have it not out of a tin! . Lovely fresh salad leaves and good dressing. Bread was excellent. The steak looked fantastic. Owner and staff very friendly, English spoken.

Highly over rated, self opinionated, arrogant, and verbally abusive Patron of restaurant, serving below average food in a lovely setting. Better food and value for money to be had in Salernes.
