El Salvador Messicano - SALERNO

This Mexican restaurant on the seafront in Salerno was a real discovery, offering tasty gluten-free options and hearty dishes. I tasted really delicious tacos with chicken strips and the portion was very generous. For all celiacs passing through Salerno I highly recommend it! The staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately not the best experience.. lets start off with the ambiance wich was the best part of the restaurant! It had a nice mexican street touch. The food for wich we came was average.. we had tacos and calamare as a starter. The calamare could have been softer and the tacos were a bit bland in taste. The main reason I’m disappointed is the service. The guy who served us was very disinterested and lazy apart from one more table there was no one there after 10-15 min off waiting he took our order in a very rude way.. A pearl with a Mexican flavor just a stone's throw from the Salerno seafront! The food is cooked in an authentic way, generous portions at affordable prices, the environment and the atmosphere are reminiscent of those of a typical place in Mexico . The boy is always super kind and helpful, I even had the opportunity to let the dog in for lunch and he welcomed him with great respect, at the end of the evening they also offer churros.
