Little Buddha - Salford

This is definitely one of the cleanest and freshest tasting takeout restaurants I've ever experienced. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is friendly and personal.

I was recommended to try this restaurant by a friend who lives nearby. When we arrived to pick up our food order, it was ready and fresh. However, upon opening the containers at home, we found that the food was disappointing. The flaming chicken looked like colored water and tasted bland. The chow mein noodles also lacked flavor and the shrimp and vegetables were soggy. The curry sauce was watery and overly seasoned with pepper. Overall, the food was bland and overpriced. We will not be returning as we did not receive what we paid for.

I have been ordering Chinese takeaway food for years, but the one we got from a restaurant in Swindon recently is now at the top of my list. On a Saturday evening, we ordered a variety of dishes to share. The crispy oyster bark was cooked perfectly and juicy, while the Singapore chow mein was wonderfully moist yet not soggy. The Thai green chicken was pungent and tender, with crispy shredded bark that was perfectly crunchy. One member in our group who isn't a fan of Chinese food enjoyed their fish, chips, and vegetables. The takeaway menu exceeded my expectations and I didn't think much of it at first. I think we will be visiting our relatives in Swindon more often now, even though they can't deliver to Cirencester.

Used to be great, but constantly last year. the delivery of this evening was absolutely disgusting. chips tasted like days old, which were warmed twice. prawn toast had seen better days, several days! the teig on fish was fat soggy and stoney, the baked. the cake was wet and soggy. I delete the number on my handy and feed the menu in the container.

Ordered loads on Christmas Eve for the four of us. The peking ribs weren’t the best in the sharing starter but everything else was absolutely delicious
