Quincys - Salida

Our server Robin was absolutely FANTASTIC!! The food was delivered quickly and hot! We are celebrating our anniversary and super happy we chose to have dinner here!

Quincys does steaks and they do them well, not done that is unless you like your steak that way, not me. Medium rare prime rib is a Saturday night Quincys. You have one choice at Quincys, steak, hownyou like it done, a baked potato, (cheese and sour cream optional) and an iceberg wedge salad, choice of dressing.

I was surprised about the wedge salad, I had never had one before. The plate it was on was too small. I think I would like my salads chopped when served.

The prime rib was tough, though seasoned well. The mack and cheese was plain. The salad was huge with one dressing, which was to sweet. The steak sauce was actually a sweet bar-b-q sauce. I am okay with one or two items, but it need to be done superbly. And I want savory, not sweet with my prime rib. The decor is tired.

For the price and quality of service, this place is top notch. It is a 1 item menu (choose your size of steak and how you want it cooked). Filet, baked potato and desert. The bacon wrapped filet is 8/10, the service is 10/10.
