Tony's - Salida

I don’t stop by as often as I should because this place is a true hidden gem located next to a gas station in Poncha Springs. In fact, it seems that most restaurants in Poncha Springs are situated by gas stations. Nonetheless, every time I visit, Tony has been my server. He has built a loyal local following, and the food is both delicious and fairly priced. As a gringo originally from upstate New York, I don’t consider myself an authority on Mexican cuisine, but I've never been let down by anything I’ve ordered here. If you’re in search of a welcoming atmosphere with great food at a great price, you can’t go wrong at Tony's!

Everything about this place was amazing! We will definitely make it a stop when we're in the area again. My husband said his enchiladas were probably the best he’s ever had, and he's tried many from all over the country.

This is a fantastic family-owned Mexican restaurant that offers a warm, homey atmosphere and bold flavors in their dishes. The service was incredibly kind, and the vibe was open and welcoming. My boyfriend and I, along with other customers, found ourselves chatting about the road closure, which created a sense of camaraderie. Tony, our host, was great company, always attentive while also being friendly. I highly recommend this place—definitely try the pastor!
