Playa Azul Taco Shop - Salina

OMG, the Chile Verde Burrito!!! Huge Flaky tortilla filled with big juicy chunks of pork and rich chili verde sauce. The shredded beef rolled tacos are delicious and seasoned perfectly. This is not fast food. It's made slowly with love. It's hard to find because there's the old pizza sign out front, and the building is set back a bit, but it sooo worth stopping if you're jumping off I70.

Delicious Mexican food and huge portions. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Grilled chicken tacos were so tasty. Staff is really sweet. Love the quiet, friendly little town of Salinas!

Had a charging stop near here, and decided to check this place out based on reviews here. Best decision ever! We are from California and miss true Mexican food and this was the best we've found since moving. We are now going out of our way back to stop here on the way home. It's that good! If there's one thing you stop for, let it be this place.

Delicious food! I was very impressed at the tacos, and they were loaded with plenty of meat, which can be a problem at other shops selling street tacos. Service was fine, and the facility is a little run down, but this whole in the wall place makes great food!

The food is amazing. The service is cordial. My only gripe is you MUST call to order because their hours are so inconsistent. I've driven more than a handful of times from Sanpete County to get food only to have them closed at all different times of the day. The latest was Friday night. Posted closing time on Google is 8pm. Got to the restaurant at 7:20. A table was sat eating but the lights were off outside and the door was locked. Oh well. I'll deal with it because the food really is crave worthy but I'll just remember from here on out to not assume they'll be open and call in the order.
