I won a gift certificate for Jim's in Prunadale and gave it to someone today as a thank you. They went to the restaurant with the intention to use it to pay for a part of their dinner. Jim's staff in prunedale refused to accept the gift voucher. They were quite rude for the person I gave myself, and for me when I called them on the phone to ask why they do not accept the gift certificate. In California gift certificates do not decay and they do not follow the business to the owner of the company. Your claim was not good because the business has a new owner who is against the law. I will contact the owner tomorrow and see what they have to say, as their staff said, they are not today. I've gone to Jim's in Seaside for over 10 years and I've ever had the best experiences and I've been shocked by what happened on the stock exchange, I've never expected this from Jim's
The current owner is new in prunedale with a new name for the restaurant, annie’s place. I enjoyed my dinner of sweet and sour bun with steamed white rice. my man had broccoli cattle. I'd like to have seen more nice in the huh. the broccoli beef was loaded with broccoli.
Really good Chinese food and cheap. The service is fantastic, our server was very friendly and efficient. We received very generous portions. It is located near a car repair shop so is the perfect place to eat while waiting for smog check etc. Recommend this family restaurant.
Food was piping hot like you hope for from a home cooked style meal. Everything was well done. Service was great. Very nice couple from Hong Kong. Started in SF and are sadly moving to Marina! We'll miss them! Little bit pricey for the Asian food, $10 a plate, but it is what it is. They also have American food which is cheaper, or even Italian! Kid friendly!
