La Casa Del Guajolote - Salinas

We have been coming here for the past 3 years, the food and service continues to be amazing! Highly recommend coming on the weekends as they have a special green salsa out.

I was searching for a nearby restaurant that served menudo and this place came highly recommended. Unfortunately, the menudo was greasy, lacking in flavor, and tasted unpleasant. The restaurant appeared to be a hole in the wall and the service was slow. We waited 15 minutes for our order, which consisted of menudo and four tacos. The prices may be affordable, but the quality of the food was not up to par. The only enjoyable part of the meal was the two Mexican sodas. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. 05/25/2023.

Did not enjoy this place at all. Was expecting good things but the atmosphere was bad and the food was mediocre at best.

Words can't describe how good this food tastes! It's what I have been searching for without having to drive south! Fresh, oh so tasty, and authentic Hidalgo cuisine. Good prices and the most excellent service!! If you follow my reviews, you know I am picky! This is my new favorite place and it's right on Main Street, east of Stapley. I am going back very soon and the whole family agrees, this is super delicious! You won't find this at Filis or Taco Bell. Absolutely amazing!!

One of the best mexican food we have tried food is tasty and service is very pleasant, definitely coming back here.Pozole and borego is a must
