La Plaza Bakery - Salinas

It's a lovely place and my favorite bakery. I absolutely adore their coconut cookies. They also have a restaurant with a coffee bar where you can enjoy tea and hot chocolate in the mornings. There's a wide variety of items available, making it a great spot overall.

This is the best Mexican bread I’ve found in Salinas. It closely resembles traditional Mexican-style bread and reminds me of the authentic taste. They also make delicious Tres Leches cakes and jellos, all at affordable prices. I almost forgot to mention the Champurrado—it gets five stars from me as well! Absolutely delicious!

I wasn't in the mood to cook, so we decided to visit our favorite spot, La Plaza Bakery, located on Bardin Street. We really enjoy their soups, and they offer plenty of options. Mexican food, so good. Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldn't stop. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. Prices that won't break you.

I always make it a point to arrive here early in the morning when driving from Sacramento. The bread sells out quickly, and they offer breakfast and lunch as well. It's truly the best place—I highly recommend it! Plus, the staff is incredibly sweet, friendly, and helpful.
