Pastability's - Salinas

We love the owners, who own a couple of restaurants in town, most notably Gino's. This place is kind of Gino's lite. The food is of similar quality but the menu is pared way down and some dishes seem different, e.g. the tiramisu. There is a picnic table outside and I'm not sure if there's any indoor seating (in both cases the ambiance is not its strong point). It's pretty much a takeaway joint with solid service and good food. Oh, and they also carry Mariann's Ice Cream (the best of Santa Cruz)! I am going to mention a personal peeve, they bring their religion into the restaurant which, if the other things weren't so good, would turn me off and away. Otherwise YUM!

If y'all don't have the time to visit Gino's, this is the place to go for your Pasta or Ice Cream! Great service.

This restaurant is fantastic. The staff is amazing and they have delicious fresh ice cream available. They offer take out service for dinner and the price per person is between $30 and $50.

This restaurant is worth every penny! The customer service was amazing and the fettuccine was served quickly. The staff was extremely friendly and even gave us ice cream after our meal. I left feeling satisfied and happy. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5 each.
