Sea Harbor Fish Market - Salinas

I was interested in this restaurant after reading the three reviews on Trip Advisor. It's a bit difficult to find and is located in an unimpressive strip mall. When you enter the restaurant you immediately see a refrigerated case of fresh fish sold at retail. All looked good but the Sea Bass, Swordfish and local Halibut all looked outstanding.My wife started with the house salad and I enjoyed the clam chowder both included in the $19.95 entrée price. Wife had the Halibut which was good but my Sea Bass was off the charts and cooked perfectly. One of the best pieces of seafood I've ever had and at $19.95!Wines by the glass are limited and this obviously isn't their forte. Nevertheless, I had a fair size pour of Sauvignon Blanc for $6.95. Not great glassware but no complaints.

I am house sitting and have been craving fresh fish. I had the Halibut with rice pilaf and salad. It was so good!

I really love this place. I stop by several times a week.

Hidden gem! awesome staff, great food and pleasant atmospher! definitely will go again as it perfect spot to get fresh seafood!

Excellent seafood market and restaurant . Family owned and operated. Best fish and chips in Salinas. Great grilled options too. Clam Chowder is phenomenal!
