Winterbourne Arms 2019 - Salisbury

Beautiful pub, with good outdoor area and excellent small playground for children, swing and a decent slide from a high climbing frame suitable for older children, but ok for small children when they are closely engaged. despite a main road, the garden is beautiful and quiet.

A lovely pub! We visited for the evening and were greeted with such warmth. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was delightful and offered great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back again!

Nice friendly, welcoming pub. eating was in order, nothing special for the price. scampi chips £11.99, would expect more than 8 bit sampi with the frozen chips. my friend had the one-pot with maische yorkshire pud for the same price, but they had plucked from yorkshire and milk, mehleier I guess) but calculated the same price!

The restaurant features a lovely garden with a small playground for children, as well as a larger public playground just around the corner. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, the food was quite good. However, there was one major issue: I had requested my steak to be medium rare, but it arrived well done and was thin and disappointing. I mentioned this to the waitress, but I didn't receive much of a response. Despite this, I would consider giving this place another try.

Update 25th Dec 2019... Oh my goodness.. what a day. Christmas Carvery was fantastic. A magical experience with family at Christmas. The food was great from starter to dessert. The atmosphere was wonderful and I can't praise the Staff enough for making everything run so smoothly and making it a pleasure to be there. Special thanks to Sarah and Jess.
