The place is very nice, but for a serving for 2 people of around 18000 CRC you can expect a lot more, even if the service is very welcoming. For dry chicharrones with dry yucca and plantain and a few cheap tortillas, sauces from disposable mini packages are offered, and not even a decent chimichurri or coleslaw. For this money you can easily get 4 large portions of Chicharrones in typical restaurants like this one. Unfortunately very disappointing ....

If you like to eat pork this is the place! Their specialty are chicharrones (pork belly) cooked in five different ways. Beautiful views, fast service, and plenty of tables. They have live entertainment, I went for lunch and they had about 7-8 characters dressed with giant masks, they dance around while some others are playing live music. It is a lot of fun. It is kind of expensive but overall is totally worth it.

Great place! Awesome environment with all the dancing masquerades and music. And then we have their incredibly good food. Chicharrones heaven with all sort of side dishes like picadillos , plantain, cassava, etc. Also, magnificent desserts! Really had a good time and enjoyed great food and service.

Close to Down Town San Jose, just a 20 mins trip from SJ, good and fast service, good for families, really good food, but prices aren´t cheap.

Best place I know in Costa Rica to eat chicharrones, a typical way of eating pork. Just try it and you will come back. Best quality, little fat, fresh, delicious
