I had to give them 5 out of 5 stars for location. They couldnt be more well placed!! Such a great oasis to stay at in the middle of the desert!! Our kids loved the pool (birds come in the evening and cool off in the water, so beautiful!! and the tortoises!!! The ladies in the office are SO kind and welcoming, and the community as a whole is absolutely amazing! We stayed in an RV Pull-Thru spot- they have full hook-ups including sewer! Extremely reasonably priced compared to nearby parks. NOT a 55+ communityso they ARE family friendly. Summertime is very hot, but the pool makes it worth it and the rec hall is pretty cool (AC pumps in there!! . Laundry is available and affordable. We unfortunately didnt stay at the right time to try the Cafe, but we heard SO many great things and we really look forward to trying it next time we stay!! We did stay at the right time for the Sunday Ice Cream social, but we were too busy in the pool ? HIGHLY recommend ?????Noteworthy details: They have tortoises, gates in the back of their property that open to BLM land, paths to golf course, and riding area. Also super affordable ?
Outstanding service!Quality meals!All round 5 Stars!
This is a great place to stay if you enjoy riding your side-by-side on nice trails in the desert. We truly enjoyed the campground. We went to a pot luck at the rec center I’ve evening and had a great pancake breakfast one morning. The laundry room is small but clean.
The largest sites we've ever seen! Every site is truly enormous. The entire campground is gravel. The water truck rolls by seven days a week at 6 am to keep the dust down. Almost every night you can hear the pack of coyotes out back in the BLM land. They have beautiful views, tons of atv trails, and lots of activities. The prices are amazing as well.We state's for two months, December through January. We met lovely people who live there pretty much year-round. The laundry rooms (3) are clean and coin operated. The Hacienda has a beautiful porch with seating. There are at least two community fire pits, and ice cream social every Sunday (bring $2.50/pp), and lots of games in the event center. Pickle ball courts and lessons, community gardens and three desert tortoises! You can get mail here for $3.50/mo. You can even send mail out as long as you pre-pay for a label through the carrier of your choice. The area does not have too much nearby. A small connivence store is within walking distance and they have a cafe onsite other than that, you must drive to Quartzite, we drove to Parker for the Walmart every other week and spent time in Phoenix and Lake Havasu City mostly when we left the campground. You can hike but not ride mountain bike trails as the gravel is too deep. Closest mtb trails are lake Havasu city.Would recommend this campground so long as you have a fuel efficient vehicle to get around for supplies.
