Feedback gevenIf you are a professional restaurant critic or a local you can reach your conclusions based on a number of visits. If you are passing through, first impressions are all you have to go on-and your life experience. Michelin rates this restaurant as a Bib Gourmand and the only restaurant recommended in town. So, of course, we gave it a try. We were underwhelmed. Would have to say the service was cordial and professional. Our pasta course was very good, but not enhanced by being served at room temperature. A very lovely salad was shared. Skipping the local specialties of horse meat and donkey meat, and salami, the latter served everywhere in the region, we would have been quite content with a fine dessert to complete a light lunch. The desserts were adequate, but nothing to write home about. The waiter made a point of saying he was serving us house bread. Pity, it wasn't made today. There is no wine list. The restaurant, though takes pride in their wine selection. I prefer to make my own choices. True, they may have a strong idea of what wines go best with their dishes, but that should still be the choice of the customer. Not knowing what they had, I mentioned two Italian whites that we enjoy. The waiter brought out two bottles of decent wines from the Veneto and Alto Adige. Certainly acceptable, but I don't know if there was another bottle in stock I would have preferred. This is an agreeable restaurant in a very faded spa town. Perhaps we would have been happier with other dishes on the menu. Michelin is usually quite reliable. Not today.
Visited for dinner,cozy place,nice seating.very friendly waiter,davide,who suggested all the courses, which ended with a tasty cotecchino.the wine was also selected by the waiter,a red lambrusco and a white malvasia frizzante-sparkling. the dessert was also good,crem caramel and semifreddo.very nice.
Bad experience for high expectations. Dishes were either too salty or lack of taste. Roast beef was overcooked and dry. Waiter was friendly with ordering, but after the first dish did not ask if the food was good and just served the plates without saying anything. If you do not appreciate smoking, don't sit outside. We were in between smokers which was not pleasant during the courses. Overpriced for the quality you get.
Posto molto intimo e bello la posizione mi piace molto l'arredamento interni molto particolari risultato di una ristrutturazione di una vecchia casa. pietre e arredi esposti retrò il proprietario molto gentile e competente! Minù ha cercato alcune cose ma ben curate materie prime fresche e stagionali! Ho mangiato il pi sarebbe su un formaggio crema con erbe stagionali che era la fine del mondo! un arrosto di cinghiale con macerato di ciliegia! buono che aveva solo un piccolo peccato avrei voluto un po 'più bagnato perché mentre si raffreddava purtroppo è diventato asciutto ma il goto era fantastico e anche la carne era morbida! il costo non è per coloro che vogliono cospargere! sia con amici che colleghi per cene se si desidera fare bella figura ma anche per cene o pranzi romantici!
Bel posto con cibo di qualità e ben cucinato. Forse un po 'costoso per una taverna tuttavia la scelta di materie prime in realtà di alta qualità.
