Barbacoa Mexican Grill - Salt Lake City

The original Barbacoa is my favorite. There are others now in Draper, Cottonwood Hts, etc, but we still pass these to go back to 9th 9th where it all started. The menu is small but the burrito is HUGE! It's just so good but you can get it as a bowl or order tacos or salads. This is the only place I know that can really wrap them tight make them hold together! I love that the tortillas are steamed beforehand to make it work.

I absolutely love Barbacoa! The best is their burrito bowls which consist of rice, beans, and your choice of meat, cheese, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, guacamole (extra) and an optional tortilla (extra). They're so so so tasty and healthy as well. I crave this place all the time. Plus they have a Barbacoa rewards card so you can get points towards a free meal! If you love Mexican food, you'll love Barbacoa!
