Este Pizzeria — Downtown

Great pie! Flavor was good and was cooked to perfection. It was just a cheese pie but they did forget the basil but…it was really good. Def had east coast vibes. On a one bite pizza review I’d call it a 8.2 Def would go back.

I've been going to Estes for a few years, and there have been some issues from time to time, but nothing like my most recent misadventure this past weekend. I don't like leaving nasty reviews, but this meal was a disaster from top to bottom. I ordered delivery thru Doordash, as the previous time I had called the restaurant directly and been told quite rudely they don't deliver. This place is a mess. We placed an online order that was accepted and our card was charged, but when I arrived to pick it up — the restaurant wasn't open. Their online menu is missing items from their regular menu, and they only answer the phone about half the time. They get 2 stars because the food is good if you're able to navigate the maize and actually get your order. But honestly, I'm not sure it's worth the mess of trying to get food from here.

The pizza is always delicious. Today I dropped in for a couple slices at lunch time and was out the door with my food in less than 10 minutes. The strombolis are also super good.

I picked up two pizzas at 3:30pm on 8-18-22 from “Ryan C” at Este downtown location. When I got home I noticed they were both not cut. The pizza was awful tasting and gummy. At first we thought it wasn’t fully cooked and the dough was raw, but it was the cheese. Not sure if the mozzarella was tainted or what, but it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had.
