Gaetano's Sub Shop - Salt Lake City

Don’t be fooled by the name change (from Grinder’s 13), some of the best sandwiches in the whole state are served here. It’s a funky cool place with great food.

I love their Subs and fries. This is not a franchise sandwich shop. You meet the owner and his staff. If he wouldn't eat it. He won't serve it. Parking is hit or miss..but worth it.

You want a good sandwich or sub? Hot or cold, come in for a nice, absolutely delicious sub! Anywhere from Krab, to Phillies, you cant go wrong.

I got the chicken parmigiana and the fries. The fries were very flavorful but a small amount. The sub was initially fantastic and I was super excited about it but then I hit some super spicy bits that ruined the rest of it for me. I will probably try more of their sandwiches in the future but definitely try something else if you are also spice averse.

I had a simple Italian Sub, it was fantastic. The guys there were kind and you could tell they cared when I told them how good it was. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!
