Food ever. I ordered an aubergine and fish dishes and a bowl of white rice on the side, plus a court fried rice. the color of the food looks completely disgusting and unauthentic, they bought the cheapest and worst quality of rice as I can taste it, and I found a piece of mineral or stone of any kind in my rice, the diameter is about 2 cm, if I had swallowed it, I could die. I talked to the server about it and they offered me the rice for free. the aubergine and fish dish tasted sweet and sour, the authentic is salty, the taste is completely disgusting as if the aubergine rotted. fried rice costs $9.99 and the part is super small. that is the worst eating ever...read more
After I tried this place twice, I can say this is the worst Chinese American food I've ever had. the sesame chicken was gray, the egg roll was greasy, unpleasant and came with a strange colored sauce that seemed to be watered down, and the scalion pancake was crispy on the outside, raw on the inside, and it was possible to be strange tasteless while also leaving a metallic aftertaste in my mouth. I really don't understand why this place has positive reviews. I saw other Chinese customers there maybe do a good job on the authentic Chinese menu, but if they want to go standard cover-tarife elsewhere! even the lucky cookie has tasted fun!
New to salt lake. my fiance and I are new in salt lake and use google maps and other online sources than medium to find decent resteraunts and other similar types of businesses. I read the reviews for the golden phoenix chineese resteraunt and went over the menu, then decided to order our takeover. that was only satisfactory, turned out, was the appetizer (Knaben-Rangoon.) they were very tasty and I revitalized them to mention good enough here. for two people we spent $36 and some change. not bad I suppose, but for the fact that we could only enjoy one of the two main dishes, it was overall very discouraging! we ordered a Mongolian bark meat that...read more
Excellent Chinese food!. We LOOOVED our food! We got their dim sum and couldn't STOP eating Their HUGE, round pot stickers (atleast I think that's what they were) were by far the best I've ever eaten on the planet but when we asked for more, they brought out something else (the normal kind you see everywhere else) so I'm not sure what we got.
