Maize Tacos - Salt Lake City

Steak was chewy juicy and it's been sitting out for a min. But still good. Loved the flavor of the Chipotle sauce and beans. Has a great kick too.

I was on the hunt for an Al pastor plate near my house and came across this place for tacos. They?re very friendly and it looks like the make it all right there. I will say it is a little pricier. I got the Al pastor taco special, 4 for $12 which was basically a free taco because normally they?re 3.75. They were a ?boujie? version than I was use to, the presentation is very pretty. Which kind of explains the price. And they were really good, I was impressed and very happy.

I am from Arizona where there are a lot of great tacos. ... however, Maize by far has the best lobster tacos I have ever had. Eaten here twice in one week. LOVE...LOVE...LOVE!

Short review: good tacos, just a bit spendy Longer review: I got a carne asada and pastor taco and I liked them well enough. The asada was on par for most places. The pastor was good as well, but not the best I?ve had. Chunga?s pastor are better IMO. The problem I have is the cost. It was $3.75 per taco, so with tax, it?s over $8 for 2 tacos which is just too much, especially with the size. I put my key card to give an idea of the size. Would I go back? Maybe, if I was in

Walk here to get pick up for home. Ordered a fish taco and a chicken taco. Both tacos tasted good. I also got the loaded nachos which I was expecting to be hot but these were cold. The ingredients on the nachos were lettuce pico de gallo rice chips and a meat of your choice. This would taste much better heated up.
