Pago On Main - Salt Lake City

We visited this restaurant for our anniversary, eager to try something new. Our server was incredibly friendly, and the tuna tartare was exceptional! The market fish was grouper served on a creamy potato base, and we also enjoyed the braised short rib. The entrees were delightful, as suggested by our server. We rounded off the meal with some bread pudding that was absolutely divine. This is a fantastic place for a wonderful dinner!

The service was the main drawback during our visit; we often had to ask for drink refills and request to place our orders. However, the food was quite good, and overall, it was a nice spot for a group gathering.

Pago was a disappointing experience. The service was awful, a stark contrast to our visit when Pago on Main first opened. The salad dressing was soaked through the lettuce, ruining the dish. The other items were just average. We even had to hunt down the server to get some bread. We won't be returning.

The meal was fantastic. The salmon market fish was fantastic and I’d totally get it again.

Expensive but so, so great. Kev, our server was also a great addition to the already delicious food and nice atmosphere.
