Pie Pizzeria - Salt Lake City

The guy who took the order at the front counter, seeing the gajillions of people coming in on a late Monday night wasn't fazed; he took the order and pulled a few jokes while he was at it too.  Albeit cheesy, it did help to show that personable people still existed in these kinds of places.  The pizza did take a bit of time to come out-- the dessert actually came before the main pizza-- they were both good.  The cookies and creme was exactly how it was described and did not disappoint.  The extreme veggie was also interesting.  The crust was unexpectedly crunchy for a thicker size, which is a good thing for me.  The veggies that went with it also made it a great addition to the taste.  In all, I'd come here again.  Staff is friendly.  Pizza is good.  It opens late night.  It's too bad I go to BYU...

For some reason the pizza here is better than at any other location. Maybe older ovens, maybe better care or experience? Who knows, but it is. Though all pizza must be eaten there. No pizza from any location is good after 20 minutes or delivered, they put so much cheese it becomes like rubber. And their pizza has zero reheat value. Still the best of the bunch of locations is this one.

It's a cool place. Definitely worth it for the atmosphere. A little more expensive than I like for pizza. But all in all a pretty solid pick. A tentative recommend.
