Red Iguana - Salt Lake City

We loved the Red Iguana. We are from Denver but if we lived in SLC, we would be regulars here. Loud, fun atmosphere. We loved our server Aaron. Food was great and the Cadillac margarita was as good as it gets. Large portions, we had even left over to cobble together reheated breakfast the next day.

This place is amazing! If you are ever in Salt Lake City and want a fabulous place to eat I would definitely recommend this place. I had the fish tacos (mahi mahi) with the mango mole sauce. It had just the right amount of sweetness and heat. The whole dining experience was wonderful. Go early. It's not a very big place and you will have to wait for a seat. I have been meaning to try the Red Iguana for several years now and I finally made my first visit today. It definitely lived up to all to all of the positive reviews I've seen. The first thing that stood out was the great service. We were immediately met with friendly smiles, taken to a table, and we had our water and chips and salsa quickly. After ordering, our food came out quickly and tasted great. I had the Tacos Don Ramón and they were amazing. I will definitely be retuning. BTW, Tony is a great server and gave us excellent service.
