Terrible employee, food was great but people like Debra don't deserve to be in the hospitality industry. Overall a terrible experience.
Everything was wrong. Order was misheard, and was given the wrong kind of burger. Meat was overcooked and lacked flavor. Fries needed more salt. They forgot my shake, so I went back for it, but they did not make it fresh and it had freezer burn all the way through. So disappointed.Food came in neat packaging, but this did not redeem it.
Maybe the slowest cashier I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. This location had a line a mile long and they had a single cashier who spoke, moved, and perceived the world at the speed of maple syrup. Also, they were completely out of several popular items like their cheese fries, but didn’t bother to put up any signs or inform folks waiting in line of this and let people wait for 20+ minutes only to learn at the register. People trying to make flights on tight schedules were screwed at this point with no time to pursue other food options.Definitely a brain surgeon crew staffing this location, or one so checked out that they don’t care due to idiotic management (most likely scenario, greedy clueless upper management ruins every business in this country).Maybe if you have a leisurely 12 hours to spend at the airport, 4 of them in a line at Shake Shack, this might work for you. Otherwise avoid and try other dining options nearby.
Fast, polite and friendly service. Food is mediocre but what I would expect for airport fast food. Price was surprisingly reasonable.
We were excited to try shake shack, it would have been our first time. A party of 6 of us approached the counter and the employees took the first 4 orders and when my wife and I stepped up to order, the employee turned her back and shut off the signs and walked away. We were obviously taken back and I asked the people in the kitchen if they were closed and they said yes. We obviously felt bad that they were trying to close up (we are in the airport and everything was open). Even if they would have just explained that they are going to close but they didn't. We found it very unprofessional to just shut off the monitors. There was no one behind us and now I'm sitting at the table watching our 4 friends enjoy their burgers. The age of customer service appears to be dead. The food looked good, but we won't be back.
