Trio Cafe Cottonwood - Salt Lake City

During dinner, things took another turn when the birthday girl discovered a large eggshell in her pasta. After the hair incident, she completely lost her appetite and couldn’t finish her meal. Since the waitress had offered free desserts, most of us decided to order some. However, when the bills arrived, we noticed that only a couple of the desserts were comped. We then asked to speak with the manager, and after waiting about half an hour, she finally approached our table. After we explained the situation, her response was, "And what would you like me to do about it?" None of us are particularly difficult diners, and while the hair in the water was gross, we tried to stay positive. However, the lack of concern and questionable behavior from the staff left us with a bad impression—quite literally. I can’t fathom how a restaurant can thrive with such poor customer service! There are plenty of other places with great food and excellent service, and I will certainly not subject myself to an experience like this again!

The service is outstanding. We had a party of 16 adults and many children, and the waitress was so understanding and able to accommodate all our needs. We got seated in privaty party area. Brunch was spectacular with eggsitaliano, pizzas, burgers, soups, omelete, etc. I hope to come back another time when the weather permits for patio sitting.

We have always really enjoyed this restaurant. Our experience today was really amazing. Our server this evening was Sommer. She was attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful. This is a beautiful, modern style restaurant and a fun atmosphere overall. And of course, very yummy food and great desserts!

The brunch at this restaurant is consistently impressive! The pancakes were outstanding—some of the best I've ever had! The brunch menu is quite affordable, especially considering how fancy and delicious the food is. The staff delivers exceptional service every time. The drinks are also fantastic. This is definitely a must-visit spot for brunch in Salt Lake!

This is the best burger I’ve had in ages! I ordered my meal to go, so I can't comment much on the in-house service, but the ladies who took my order were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The side salad of mixed greens that came with my burger was also delicious.
