Yanni's Greek Express - Salt Lake City

A cut above usual fast food. A cut above most fast food fare, but that's not to say that it's perfect. Years ago Yanni's was @ the same location in a different building, but the owner rebuilt and changed his philosophy. The Pork Souvlaki is generally overcooked and under marinated,compared to the succulent pork of yesteryear. The French fries are now dry, from a frozen source out of the box, they used to be fresh cut and the best in town. Having said that ,the food is very good for fast food and competes well in this arena. As for Greek Food in general it does fair, prices are good.

Yanni's is the best inexpensive Greek food available by far. Their gyros are amazing!

Absolutely love it! My family comes here all the time, and I decided to take my boyfriend. We both got the bacon cheeseburger (one of the best burgers I've had) and he said it was high on his ranking too. My family usually gets the souvlaki with lemon rice. I always try to stop here when I'm in Sugar House!

Drive thru really fast, food was hot and fresh. You can tell when fries are made to order versus when they have been sitting and these ones taste fresh. I love local joints and I definitely recommend trying this spot!
