Not eaten here yet, but this place is nice and cosy, staff are very helpful and friendly, myself and my girlfriend we go here on our mountain bikes, our 6mile local for a shandy and some crisps, this time round we were a little cold and asked if they do hot drinks, not at the moment as they are waiting for a coffee machine, but the boss went above and beyond and made myself and Julia a mug off tea free of charge, they now serve meals in the Anchor which we will be trying next time we visit, it's pizza and other stuff, but they've only been open since last time it was closed, but there going in the right direction for a great pub and great hospitality... Must go

One of the best pints of beer I've had in a long time and really warm and friendly folks. Well worth a visit! Meal type: Other Price per person: £20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
