Tacos El Pastor - Saltillo

Very good service and food was great ... Rib-Augen-Tacos with melted cheese! Very clean environment.

We arrived in Vegas and just wanted to eat on foot. It is post-Covid and some places are open, some have restrictions, it is frustrating. So we decided to just dive into Tacos el Pastor, with hesitation. But wow, it was like we're going overseas, what we love. We were the only Anglos. We said we could buy beer next door and bring it in. The food was authentic and delicious. We'll come back this weekend before we leave.

My friends from Saltillo took me here for lunch, I had beef tacos, guacamole , bottled Mexican coke and wanted to order some refried beans and found they do not offer them, charro beans only. Overall a good experience, very clean establishment.

Let my tell you, I have my prefered taco places in Saltillo but decided to give this place a try when my Canadian friend wanted to try non conventional tacos (aka beef tongue tacos). We came, we ate, we... definitely didn 't conquer. While the beef...tongue tacos were decent, the pastor tacos were a bit disappointing. The value for your money was ouch! Lots of places have great salsas, a side of fried onions/potatoes or a side of frijoles charros but this place does the minimum. Nothing wow about the salsas which usually makes or breaks a taco place. Too simple in my opinion. So get out, smell the tacos and definitely try other places to compare for yourself.
