Magazine is located in a non-descript street, but is a hidden gem. Modern, beautiful terrace, grocery store. Service is friendly and attentive, regardless of the large number of customers. Food is a little less traditional than what we saw on Salzburg menus, and very well done. Therefore, a lively, modern and innovative place, with great service and dito food. Extensivce wine list. Not cheap, but worth it in the face of quality. Very recommended!
We came for a drink and had also meal, because the location is very interesting and charming. The drinks are excellent and the atmosphare too, the food is good, maybe a bit expensive compared to the quality. Service friendly, music very good
We visited this most unusual restaurant on a cool day in Salzburg after struggling for over an hour find it. The road in front is under construction; a sign indicating this would be helpful. Parking as always is difficult. The decor was not as I expected. It is housed in a World War 11bunker, the chairs are cafe type, the banquettes stiff and a bunch of dry flowers a silly incongruous extra in an otherwise meant to look stark interior. The food was average. The starter was delicious, but the main course, asian ribs were terrible. Too much food. The sauce was salty which ruined the flavour, and was sticky. The tiny salad was average and too cold so none of the flavors stood out. But the worst was the greasy factory fries. Come on guys, in a restaurant of this apparent caliber you EXPECT hand cut fries. The waiter who seemed bored sniffily told us somewhat imperiously that they go through 50 lbs of potatoes a week so? ever heard of a potato slicer ? Dessert was divine, but the food was too inconsistent to rate it as a Michelin star restaurant. A pity. Such an unusual venue. We won 't go back nor recommend. Pricey for the bar snack type ribs.
