Ortner's Restaurant - Salzburg

Went there early, everything was fully booked but we could eat there before the others were coming. Very nice staff, good food and delicious coffee. The atmosphere is great, very cosy restaurant. Making a booking is advised!

Bischofshofen 's best kept secret. A little wine bar tucked away in a side street, and if you find it, you 'll be in for a treat ! A real cosy, buzzing, vibrant place to come eat or just for drink. From steaks to lasagne, a range of different dishes for all budgets and tastes. We have been going to Ortners now over the past 4 years, and never disappoints. If you want to sample some of their delights, it might be advisable to book in advance, to avoid disappointment. The staff are efficient and friendly. The food is fresh and really tasty. But if you 'd just want to hang out for a drink or two, it has a real vibrant atmosphere. We are going back to this part of Austria in September, Ortners we shall return!!!

We specialy went to this retaurant after reading rave reviews about the place and i would say it was a great experience. We had no reservation still the server was great to give us high chairs beside the bar. The menu was in German only but the pretty server was kind enough to describe everything in English to me. We ordered few sodas , Starters and mains. Everything was top class. The vibe of the place was too good. People were sitting around having good time. Do try this place out. Compliments to the Chef for amazing Food great service by 2 lovely girls. Cheers!!

Having visited the immense ski-jump site, we happened upon this venue and were glad that we did. Being a fine, sunny October day we elected to eat outside but inside also looked good. The service was friendly and efficient. We each tried the daily menu. My starter was a simple but cleverly dressed salad that was very tasty; my main was a ubiquitous pork schnitzel however, this was significantly the best that I ate whilst in Austria because of the thickness of the meat and a tastily seasoned breadcrumb. Overall very good and I wouldn't hesitate to return if in that area.

Excellent food and service! Very friendly and generous service. There are also good dishes for kids. The food is varied, fresh and very tasty. Recommended!!!
