Big Better Burgers - Sambong

We didn't expect anything on the pasta but after we emptied the plate, it highlighted our experience here. The pasta have 2 meatballs on top which make it extra special. Both burgers are good, worth the price. The patties are huge and palatable. The Bacon Wildshroom is at par with other Burger specialty joint's flagship dish. It gets messy once you eat both with the juice from the meat flows down the buns. The cheese does not overpowers the rest of the ingredients.

Why only 4 star for this store? 01 Love the Jalapeno burger. 02 the clean ambiance 03 Need to go out of the store to avail the use of restroom. but service staff needs attention to details because everyone were busy using their celfone.

My friend and I decided to split one 3 Cheese Explosion Burger and one Wild Mushroom Pasta. BBB does not have set meals, so we had to pay an additional P39.00 each for the fries and drinks. Total bill reached P398.00, which is not bad, considering the sizes of their servings. True to its name, the Wild Mushroom Pasta is served with shiitake mushrooms (can’t vouch for their wildness though) and white sauce, and topped with two gigantic meat-patties (I want to call them meatballs, but really, they’re more like mini-patties because of their size). Although the pasta was tasty in itself, I must confess that my favorite part of the dish were the patties, which were juicy and seasoned just right. The fries are your ordinary thick-cut fries meant as something to munch on in between big burger bites, but I loved the cucumber lemonade and wished there was a free refill. No such luck though. The 3 Cheese Explosion Burger is a great combination of different cheeses, grilled burger patty, and lettuce. The smokey taste of the patty worked well with the rest of the ingredients, even with the burger bun, which was also grilled lightly, as evidenced by the light char marks on its bottom half. I found the burger so tasty, I finished my half in less than three minutes, and my friend wouldn’t stop laughing about it. Hey, I’m a fast eater! Although this is the first time I’ve eaten in BBB, I’m happy to discover that there is a branch in Robinson’s Galleria and in other malls in Manila, so I can easily drop by for a visit and try their other burgers in the near future. And maybe try not to finish everything in five minutes tops.

My partner, her kids and I loved burgers, so every time we craved for it, we always visit BBB, well, it's not really the best burger per se, but I must say it's tasty. We also loved their fries. The steak also tastes good, though the sauce was a bit salty. The price is very reasonable( at least for us, average people).. The only problem with this place is their service..I won't recommend this place if you're very hungry,, very slow service.. In fairness to the staff, they were very accommodating, it's just the service you have to work on!

I reviewed BBB last January for having a bad experience. But I was invited to dine and try to have a new experience besides I believe in second chances. So here now is my review with the new experience: (I am not retracting any review from last time,it's just that now is a better experience) I was once in this restaurant last January. Unfortunately I had a bad experience. Just today I was invited to dine again, see and experience the authentic taste of Big Better Burger. We ordered big double dare with cheese burger, regular chili con joe burger (like a sloppy joe on top of a juicy beefy burger), big mushroom con loco burger and big bistro rice. We also had lemonade cucumber, red iced tea and skin-on fries on the side. All the big burger were really big and perfect for those who are hungry and big eater of burger (stands the 1/3 pounder size). The regular burger is perfect also for people who's not a big eater but still, it has a quarter pounder patty so it will definitely give you a full stomach after. The burgers were juicy, big and tasty. I could say that the taste is perfect this time (not salty, not tasteless). I ate the mushroom loco and the mushroom and its sauce is really good,it goes along with the burger. But among the burgers, I like the chili con joe (my cousin ordered it and I tasted it). I am a big fan of sloppy joe and chili con carne, and putting together the chili of chili con carne to sloppy joe and topping it to the burger patty is heaven, a really really good combination which I never thought before . My cousin is not a fan of burgers but seems like he was transformed. He even commend the burger buns because it is not dry nor saggy. The burger is not oily. And the sauces, you have it in every table (own mustard, catsup, chili) and can consume as much as you want unlike other burger chains that you always have to ask for it. The fries this time is hot and obviously freshly cook. The bistro rice serving is big that my mom had to ask my cousin to help her (my cousin had a double decker burger but he managed to finish the rice too) and this time, the gravy around it is not salty. I also commend the service because all the server greets you with a smile, the cashier suggests what is their best seller, you could see the manager helping and cooking in the kitchen. Lot of people are dining now and they have their favorites. I met the employees before and the employees now is way different. They have their standards. I am not regretting that I dined again and experience the difference. We all went home happy and stomachs were full. Kudos to the management. I will definitely go back and recommend it to my friends and relatives.
