The Flying Nun Cafe - SAMFORD VILLAGE

Always a fun resturant to have breakfast at. As it it mostly outside blankets are available for those feeling a little chilly. Great service, good coffee and reasonable prices

We went to this cafe with friends on a day out while in Brisbane. Food was good coffee was good but the service was very poor. There was a mistake with our order that there staff got wrong on making an enquire the waiter informed us he only had two hands. And here I was thinking most waiter had two hands. The delivery of this statement was very rude and not befitting of anyone in the service industry. Not that it will matter but I will not return to this cafe. I would recommend this cafe to anyone who likes rude waiters. The issue was handled badly and the staff were RUDE!

We have driven past this café previously but not stopped because it always looks crowded. We stopped in for lunch on Friday and it was busy as usual. The service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Table water, glasses, and menus were quickly put on our table. There are a lot of different eating areas both indoors and outside so it is actually bigger than it looks from the street. My partner was disappointed with the size of her meal. She left feeling still hungry. We thought the prices are a bit on the expensive side of normal so I don't think we will be visiting regularly. The food was nicely prepared and tasty. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The Flying Nun was really busy on a Saturday when we went for lunch. It's housed in a quirky old church and very charming. The food was delicious and they catered for dietary requirements. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Was taken to the Flying Nun by a friend,very impressed !! The place was packed but the service was still fast and professional. Food was well presented and flavoursome. I would suggest making a booking if your going over the weekend. Parking can be tricky but they do have a paddock at the rear of the cafe. Really enjoyed my visit and would visit again.
