When we first arrived the server was busy, so we understood that it would take longer. However, after about 30 minutes there were only two tables, a three and a four top and she continued to take a long time.
Good was very good! Tasty. Fresh. Service was great Must go! Parking: Big lot
Been going to CC for about two years now and the food and service never disappoint. Tonight the two cooks greeted us upon arrival and we were seated by our regular server, Kelly. Our server (Laura) who was on her second day there was fabulous. Food from the top down (drinks, creamy tomato blue, burgers, and cookie) were on point. The only disappointment was the owner. She was making rounds and asking patrons how everything was and spoke to the two tables next to ours. We were expecting her to stop by us next, as that was the obvious direction but just looked over and walked off. Not that we needed the acknowledgement or a visit, but we would have liked to have told her how things went and why we continue to return. We also would have liked to have mentioned Laura’s fine work ethic. Restaurant life is hard. I guess the owner is doing so well, she has the luxury of picking and choosing which patrons to speak with and ignoring others. Guess we didn’t look the part.
They do a good job here. Quirky antique or made to look antique tables and furniture. Old school downtown industrial space that’s a time warp into the bradenton of old. Friendly staff, good service, the food is good and well made. You can tell they care and there’s still a bit of southern charm to be found here, maybe a little slower pace of Florida in a state that’s largely forgotten where we’ve come from. Great spot for brunch or lunch in downtown bradenton. Even better, they have a bit of a parking lot so one doesn’t have to depend on street parking. Parking: Downtown restaurant that actually has a parking lot! Kinda rare and very convenient.
